Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Scoops: Shop Assistant ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Agreements. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to use the app. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
App Use
Scoops is designed for ice cream shop owners and operators to manage recipes, inventory, and production planning. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
Account & Data
All business data you enter (recipes, inventory, plans) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by the Scoops team and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
Photo Scanning Feature
When you use the photo scan feature, images are sent to a third-party AI service for text extraction. You agree not to scan documents containing sensitive personal information beyond your own business data.
Subscriptions & Payments
The app offers a free tier with limited scans. Paid plans are available monthly or yearly. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Scoops team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the app.
Apple Standard EULA
These Terms incorporate Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement where applicable. You can read it here: Apple Standard EULA.
