Overview
Scoops: Shop Assistant is designed to help ice cream shop owners manage their business. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about how your data is handled.
Data Storage
All of your data — including recipes, inventory, and production plans — is stored locally on your device. We do not upload your business data to any server unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it (such as photo scanning).
Photo Scanning
When you use the photo scan feature, your image is sent to an AI processing service to extract text. Images are not stored permanently and are discarded after processing. Demo scans never leave your device.
Voice Input
When you use voice input on the Production Planner, speech is processed entirely by your device or browser using built-in speech recognition. No audio is recorded, stored, or sent to any external server. On devices where built-in speech recognition is unavailable, voice input falls back to a text field.
Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (such as feature usage counts) to improve the app. This data cannot be used to identify you or your business. You can opt out of analytics in Settings.
Subscriptions
Scoops offers a free plan with a limited number of scans. Paid plans are available on a monthly or yearly basis. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider and is subject to their privacy practices.
Your Rights
You can delete all app data at any time by going to Settings → Reset App Data. This will permanently remove all your recipes, inventory, and production plans from your device.
